Almost every golfer carries a GPS distance device (Skycaddie, Golf Buddy) or wears a GPS watch. These show you your distance to the front, middle and back of the green. Then most of the same golfers also carry a Laser distance finder (Bushnell, Garmin). These tell you the exact distance to the pin. But what good are fancy clubs and knowing you are exactly 178 yards to the pin if you cannot hit the shot you need. A low, duck hook into the trees does not help your confidence. I was given one of the first production run models of It’s A Gimme! and was asked to try it out. I have been using the device for two months now. It took me about one full round to become familiar with using it. I am totally surprised how well it does the job of reading the greens. Why hasn’t someone thought of this before? It works great! As a single digit handicap golfer, I am saving 3-4 strokes per round on the greens. It’s A Gimme has become a “must have” when I play now, along with my GPS yardage watch. I played a round with Wayne and saw him using It’s A Gimme! on the greens. I convinced him to let me use it for the rest of the round.
